A bit of a TARDIS of a museum as it keeps going. Really good local history and displayed in an interesting manner. The WWI quilt is fantastic.

This Museum is full of historic artefacts of local Cornish Heritage, that if not in a museum would never be seen. Bygone rural life exhibits, Cornish Mining artefacts, local Helston Town artefacts.

Great and friendly staff, amazing collection of local artefacts. Great for kids too. Can't believe it's totally free. It does, however, rely on donations.

Hello Terry, we do indeed have a display about Bob Fitzsimmons, his house is also just a 5 minute walk up the road from the museum, complete with blue plaque. We hope you enjoy your stay!
