Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really interesting and informative course. Hands on and Rachel open to any questions and happy to repeat for clarification! The time whizzed by even when the weather became a little inclement. A good way to blow the cobwebs away and get outdoors and learn and enjoy the wonders we have around us - you’ll never walk along a beach again without noticing so much! Would recommend and attend other courses.

A wonderful private foraging course, at our pace. Learnt about what we wanted to and lots of plants we didn’t know existed. Feel very confident now to forage and explore our countryside to enhance our plate!
Rachel is very knowledgeable and helps with the dos and dont’s. She is really friendly and is really keen for you to forage for yourself after
Thanks for a great afternoon

Despite the incelment weather during parts of the foraging morning we learnt such a lot.
During a particularly heavy down pour we took refuge in a sloe berry pathway which was
surprisingly sheltered. There we picked and talked about all the uses of blackthorn and sloes
ate sloe and cashew cookies and marinaded and semi dried sloes which were very like cranberries.
Eight common hedgerow plants were explored and I shall now be so much more knowledgeable about
what we pass nearly every day on our walks and cycle rides.......Thank you Rachel :-)

My family and I had a wonderful Foraging session with Rachel around Mousehole today. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable, and her passion was clear to see. We have come away with confidence to try our hand at foraging and we are keen to learn more

We had a very educational and fun 3 hours with Rachel. Identified around 10 seaweeds which we took home to dry and eat. Feel confident to dry, cook and use seaweeds in recipes after the workshop, especially with the help of Rachel's book which we bought on the day.

Great experience of wild foraging. I planned this during covid and finally got around to this in the spring
If you get a chance to book its now autumn and blackberrie and sloes out. but book quick as this is popular.
Rachel is so knowledgeable and makes it fun and easy to learn on a ramble

A brilliant way to spend an afternoon for our whole family. We spent 3 hours foraging around Cape Cornwall discovering and nibbling edible seaweeds and plants. Rachel was such an informative and lovely guide and kept our three teenagers engaged throughout too!

Seaweed foraging afternoon at Cape Cornwall. A short walk from the car park over a rocky beach. Green red and brown seaweeds upper, mid and lower shore. Identification, information about the seaweed and tasting. Lots of informative chat and opportunities for questions. Rachel’s enthusiasm for seaweed and foraging shines through and is infectious!
