On the leaflet Porfells is described as Cornwall's biggest exotic animal sanctuary and although we didn't expect anything that was massive something that took more than 30 minutes to walk round would have been good. At £10.00 a head this was an expensive trip for the 4 of us, many of the paths and very damaged and muddy, most the... More

This was a lovely place to visit whilst holidaying in the area, food was very reasonably priced, however the place was quite small and we got around it very quickly wish we had headed up earlier in the day so that we'd of had some time to visit another small place nearby! The staff were very friendly and informative and... More

We went to this park in October with our grand daughter. The access is down a single lane track, with one passing place. Cost adults £7.50 children £6.50. Ok it had been raining in the previous days, but there were few hard walking surfaces in the whole place. We didn't see anyone that was disabled, but I think it would've... More

Porfell is a lovely little sanctuary which takes in animals that are no longer wanted by other people. The sanctuary does brilliant work to get these lovely animals back to how they should be. They are all well cared for and look happy. There is a good range of animals to see including lemurs, monkeys, a couple of different types... More

Well, reading the review by Evilraccoon, she seems the sort of person who would complain about church bells ringing if she moved to a country village. As for the smell, doesn't she know the difference between wildlife park smells and a nearby farmer muck-spreading? Also, she was obviously peeved off by not being able to play with her mobile telephone.... More

We spent a couple of hours here looking at a small collection of monkeys, zebras, owls, and farmyard favourites. It felt a little 'end of season' tired and was very quiet with only a few visitors. There's nothing flashy about this place and you may not appreciate the smells in a few places. We loved the woodland walk and the... More

Quite a strange little place with the way it is set out, but very enjoyable. A good variety of animals to be seen and a good owl presentation. Interesting stories about the rescued animals at the sanctuary. Toilet facilities, cafe and car parking available too.

Went to this "unmissable" attraction today on a works holiday (supporting disabled adults) we drove an hour to get there and was greeted by a very rude woman in the till. I can see why the carpark is empty if greeted by that!! Wouldn't advise to anyone to go there. It's also quite expensive to go look around what can... More

Wife and I went spending £20 started walking round and was distressed on what we saw the pens animals are in are need of repair and building correctly and look better. Some animals made us cry as they were distressed and badly looking need of TLC and treatment and looks as if they had not had any in a long... More
