Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent walk down the beach to the sea being buffeted by yet another storm! The sea was foaming and loud, very exhilarating indeed.

Our visit to Poldhu Cove this summer was completely ruined by disgusting Portaloos in the car park. The old toilets were disgraceful but these Portaloos reached an all time low and lead to our decision to go to another beach. Surely with all the exorbitant parking fees and our National Trust fees, some of this money could be used to build proper facilities. This is certainly not what you expect from the NT. A great shame as it has always been our favourite beach.

We have been to this Poldhu beach several times over the past few years. Our 11 year old dog loves it here, playing fetch with her ball in & out of the sea. There’s a little cafe with benches so you can sit & look out over the beach. We came across it by accident, we love it.

Still a great little place to visit, the beach cafe is still very popular. Would have given 5 stars, if the toilet facilities were open.

A lovely spot with a large sandy beach and plenty of space for all. Car park is fairly small so best to come early or late but the limited parking is good because it meant the beach wasn't overcrowded. There's a nice little cafe plus toilets and a surf school.

Loved this place. I’ve never been before and it’s a cracking little beach with a really nice atmosphere and very natural with reed beds behind and sand martins nesting in the cliffs, plus a nice mix of people quietly having a nice time. I’m not sure what it’s like when there’s a bit of a swell, but on the hot calm day we went the swimming seemed fairly safe and pretty idyllic. Water was very clear further out. Although there is a bit of a clamour for the rather limited number of parking spaces, this is good as it means the beach doesn’t get too overcrowded. I think there is also an hourly bus there Monday to Saturday, although we drove. There looked like a nice little relaxed beach cafe (we didn’t use it though) at the top of the beach.

Would definitely come back.
