Polkerris Beach combines an idyllic sandy Cornish cove with first class watersports facilities. It's as good for a day trip as it is for a two-week holiday or intensive watersports course. From the smallest sandcastle-building toddler to the seasoned watersport enthusiast, there is something for everyone here. Picture this - a sheltered, sandy beach in a small village, self-catering accommodation just up the lane, no through traffic, a beach shop and café, equipment rental so you don't have to lug everything with you and personalised windsurfing and sailing courses at our award-winning, RYA Recognised Training Centre. Round that off with a beer in the Rashleigh Inn as the sun sets and you have the makings of the perfect Cornish beach scene - or dine in style at 'Sam's on the Beach' which has proved extremely popular since it opened in 2009.

Great secret location, love this beach, easy parking up the hill. Small coffee shop on the beach along with Sams bar and The Rashleigh pub. Great for relaxing, sailing or sea fishing. Also fantastic sun sets.

We found this beach when we were walking from Par. It is a beautiful little place with restaurants. We went back there in the car for a meal at Rashleigh Inn. It's a lovely secluded bay.

Walked past here and was impressed by the quiet sandy beach and the facilities of cafe and pub. What more do you need ?

Lovely sandy beech, summer time has markers/buoys for safe swimming areas. I love the pier for angling, not much fish at the moment though. Not great for fishing during busy times as people tend to jump off the sea wall and swim around where you're...More
