Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited Andy after having surgery for a torn meniscus. Three months after the operation I still has limited mobility and was becoming dispirited about my lack of progress. Andy gave me excellent advice and reassured me that there was still progress to be made but it would not happen on its own. And this is the important point to note: as amazing as the body is, you have to put in extra work if you want to properly recover from an operation - it wont heal itself. At least not as well as it will if you have expert guidance and that is where Andy and Vurb Physio come in. Andy is himself an active athlete and so well understands the frustrations that injuries present. He has excellent knowledge and uses this to make accurate assessments and design appropriate recovery programmes. Following the initial assessment each of Andy’s sessions include measurements so that progress can be accurately monitored, new exercises and realistic targets. I’m happy to say that thanks to Andy I have now regained almost full mobility and am certain that this would not have been the case without his help.

Rang Andrew at 9.00am on Friday with a very painful mid back problem. He managed to get me in at 10am quickly assessed the situation and gave me the required treatment. By Sunday the problem had disappeared. I was very impressed with the service and treatment I received and would definitely recommend.

I first went to see Andrew back in March 2018 for help with a very painful bout if sciatica type symptoms. He did a very thorough medical check on the first visit and gave exercises to do. I saw him regularly then and each time he reassessed and changed exercise accordingly. At one point I had several sessions of acupuncture which did help. I am now totally pain free. Andrew was always very pleasant, very professional and very helpful. Physio is not an instant cure but with his help I was able to work to overcome the problem. If I have any problems in future I will certainly go back. I would highly recommend Vurb physio.

I have been visiting Andrew at VURB for the last few months following a particularly nasty bout of sciatica. Through a really well constructed treatment plan I am now virtually back to my normal self. At the height of the problem, Andrew even came out to my home late on a Friday night to offer emergency treatment. Various treatments offered which are very much guided by, and tailored to you as an individual. I cannot recommend highly enough!

I am a few years the wrong side of 70 - have had painful stiff knees for several years and walked with a bit of a limp. I always imagined that it was a joint problem. Andrew spotted me one day and asked where it was most painful. He quickly came to the conclusion that the main pain was coming from my tendons and muscles when I visited him at Vurb Physio. Following a series of exercises over a short period I am now using muscles that have not properly been used for a few years and the improvement in my walking ability has been immense. Andrew is a great Physio with great knowledge and a good eye for detail. I highly recommend him.
