About
In the heart of Cornwall's traditional mining landscape you and your family can find the perfect place to treat yourselves. Set in 18 acres of beautiful grounds, we present the UK's biggest jewellery showroom alongside our restaurant, The Cornish Pantry, with a mix of local favourites and traditional Cornish dishes. You can discover Cornwall's only remaining tin streaming mill which we've regenerated to once again extract tin from the land. We then combine our Tolgus Tin with silver and gold to create unique jewellery that will keep our precious Cornish heritage alive for generations. Make wonderful memories of your time in Cornwall with jewellery that represents our proud heritage, unique natural beauty and the Cornish way of life. Enjoy Krazy Golf, try your hand at panning for gold, take home some tasty Cornish produce from Simply Cornish Hampers or get crafty at Bear Works or Create & Paint. Free entry and parking. Dog-friendly and fully accessible.

Dissapointed, went there hoping I could get advice on gold panning & locations & all I found was long line of gold pans with Iron pyrites in paydirt but nobody to advise on anything to do with prospecting.

shame the outside area wasnt in action due to maintainence.
the inside was pure class . stunning jewelery.
not sure the high pressure sales lady needed to keep stepping in giving it the hard sell like a second hand car dealer.
If left alone we'd have probably bought some earings .
still.
cant takeaway the lovely displays .
will be going back in the summer to see all the outside areas. cant wait

Its an impressive building as you walk towards the main doors and once in the atrium and the area beyond you are faced with a lovely array of Gold, Silver, Pearl and every variety of jewelry in between, something really for everyone including men.
We popped into the restaurant and I had a flat white with chips; Son had a soft drink and chips; after a while I had to remind them about the flat white....when it arrived however it was good and strong with silky milk just how it should be; chips also arrived nice and crispy just right.
We wondered out to the museum and other attractions to find it all pretty shut up so we couldn't get the full experience on this day hence the average as half of the place we couldn't get into.

Generally a disappointing experience, took my daughter to do some Christmas pottery painting for the first time at create and paint. I found the staff to be unwelcoming and unfriendly. Left feeling disheartened and won’t be returning.

Came here on a wet morning. Our little lady enjoyed panning for fools gold and we had a walk round the museum part. We also had a go in the create and paint barn.
With it being a wet day, if it wasn't for the paint barn, we wouldn't have stayed very long.
Not a place to come for a full day but good for a pit stop or to fill in a spare hour.

Spent a couple of hours here went round the shop had brilliant selection of jewellery and pearls to suit all pockets and staff were not to pushy and let you browse.
Very good museum which is free of charge and lovely well stocked cafe.
Bought a lovely Pearl necklace and bracelet - very happy.

Spent a couple of hours here as part of a coach trip. We’ll laid out though the jewellery was a little expensive. I would love to return with the grandchildren. With the art area and China painting they would have loved panning for gold. plenty to keep the children interested.

Lovely place to go to when the weathers not great. Free entry, lovely jewellery and the staff were very helpful. Cafe was good and the mill was interesting. The prices vary so there is something for everyone and everyone’s budget. Worth a visit if your in the area.

Visited as a surprise for my wifes wedding anniversary on 27th September to me. The place is well set out and the staff were really helpful, also there was a 40% discount on the majority of the items for sale.

Hi, would it still be fun on a rainy day? Is the gold panning outside? Thanks

Cornwall Gold staff...have you considered having an online website? I am sure you would pick up new and repeat business of you offered this as a lot of your jewellery is competitively priced but a bit different to what you can buy on the high street.I would consider purchasing for birthdays and Christmas if mail order/online catalogue. I'd also suggest considering upgrading your bags/wrapping (design) ...so more like Jo Malone wrapping, especially for more expensive jewellery.

Hi, thanks for your comments. We currently offer an online catalogue for mail order on our website and a full e commerce site is on the way by the end of the year. There are currently no plans to upgrade our packaging as this was only recently replaced. As an independent business with a lot of one-off pieces an e commerce shop hasn't been a priory due to the high handling and service charges that we would be reluctant to pass onto the customer. Over 60% of our business is from repeat visitors and we also offer a newsletter subscription with exclusive offers and news. We hope you will like our new e commerce site when it launched later this year.

I would like to know when the china painting is re-opening as my group usually go there once or twice a year to do some ceramic painting and we missed last years autumn visit because of the flood and have got no answer to messages left on the answerphone. thanks Jill m
