Nice clean beach with nice views over padstow.
Nice clean beach. Thought we had settled on a quiet spot, sadly a couple with a dog came running over to our things and almost pooped on them. Not against dogs on the beach, against owner who can’t control their dogs. Plenty of calm swimming areas whilst the tide went out. Lovely people watching area. Car park nearby with toilet facilities.

    Wow what a great beach.
This place is lovely and so very quiet. We came here for a day out after looking on google at a nice beach in Cornwall. It did not disappoint. The views are stunning and it’s so peaceful. I cannot wait to come back and spend more time here.

    Peaceful, large beach
Lovely beach! Great views over to Padstow, plenty of soft sand and space for all. It is a big beach, so although it does allow dogs you can easily avoid them and owners are good at keeping dogs under control. Not lifeguards to our knowledge, but a lot of the beach is adjacent to still, calm waters (more like an estuary) than the sea. There is a car park and it does have toilets. Be aware, the car park fills very quickly and tensions can run high in the race for a space!! We arrived around 11am and waited maybe 10 minutes for a space, but not long after this, cars were queuing up the road and drivers/passengers were getting cross with one another and fighting over spaces.

Lover sandy beach, dogs welcome, needs more activities.
Beautiful beach to chill out on, lovely soft sand areas and clear waters. Some other more rocky areas and sheltered spots up at the top too. Would benefit from paddle board hire. Lots of space for families and couples so even though it was busy it never get over crowded. Dogs welcome too!

    beach good car parking bad
Wonderful beach especially walk to Daymer bay but terrrible car park. Managed to park in Greenbacks Raid PL27 6NB which is a quiet cul de sacjust behind the Texaco garage. There are no parking restrictions so no risk of getting fined or getting door dented, it is a little way back up Rock Road so is a bit more of a walk to the beach but well worth it. Also there is a bus stop by the Texan garage

    Toilet refurb badly needed!
Great location for walking, sitting in the dunes and enjoying spectacular views. Car park even off season is busy, pricing is reasonable. Plenty of facilities in the village for a drink and something to eat if required and of course the ferry runs across to Padstein. The major problem is the toilet facilities, absolutely appalling. Considering the money generated by thousands of visitors, they are a disgrace!

    Beautiful views, beach and walks
The Rock/padstow estuary, when the seas out, is incredible. Wait for the sand to dry first as soft sand can be hard work to walk on. Amazing walk. Dog’s paradise. Some nice shops. Good car park and ferry across to Padstow (another huge treat). Check ferry running if out of season. Views great. Good restaurants too.

A beautiful beach and dog friendly too. We had a lovely walk at low tide and met plenty of friendly dog owners. Get there early, the car park fills quickly.

We parked at quarry car park rock, being April it was quiet I imagine in summer it would be difficult to park there are toilets on site, we walked along the coast path to steps that led to one of the best sights and beach we have seen in this country, it was really sunny so the sea looked incredibly blue and the sand golden. We walked for a long way along the beautiful sands

Rock Beach is a lovely beach with plenty of space. It never appeared to be packed, with a great beach expanse when the tide is out.
