This is by far a beautiful place to come, with great scenery and coastal paths and hidden public houses along the way.

Potentially, a hidden gem: sand, rock pools, The Hidden Hut nearby. Tides can severely limit amount of beach available.

I visited this lovely beach on a walk towards Portscatho from the Driftwood Hotel where I was staying for a couple of nights in late October. It was virtually empty and seemed that it was probably quite quiet even in high season - must return when the weathers warmer!

Great location, despite the nearby facilities of the picturesque Portscatho village it feels quite remote and natural. Excellent for swimming or kayaking and great nosh at the Hidden Hut. Great for families and dogs or just a real chill out.

The beach is Cornwall at its best for young families. Small so they can't wander too far, loos and food available at the Hidden Hut. Gentle waves, and a stream for budding civil engineers to practice their damn building skills. Sheltered location too, with rock pools either side of the beach. Not sure how you could improve it for young... More

A fantastic beach with great views , free parking (if your lucky) and a hidden hut selling refreshments . I completely understand previous comments about dogs spoiling it , however the reality is that there's a million beaches in Cornwall and not many are Truly dog friendly , before we had dogs it would have put me off , now... A very short walk from the Rosevine and handy for the Hidden Hut. Lovely sandy beach with rock pools too. Also car park in Portscatho

Expect the unexpected! Fine dining dishes, typical local produce of high quality, fabulous home made cakes, or typical café grub - they have it all - you will be amazed at the range conjured up at this little beach hut.
