Don't be fooled by the size of the little chapel which houses the St Agnes Museum. It is packed with two floors of fascinating, vibrantly-presented material. Much of it,of course, is about mining as well as the village's sea-faring traditions, but there is so much...More

Amazingly-well presented small museum showing local history. Also has the best gift shop we saw on holiday. We liked the genuine tin ingot souvenirs made from St Agnes-mined tin that made ideal small gifts.

We came upon this lovely museum by chance, & it's a real gem. Free to enter, the displays show the history surrounding St. Agnes, & we spent longer in there than we intended!

This museum changed my views (positively!) regarding small museums. It was beautifully presented, very engaging, topical and showed experiences that could be relevant to all of us. We would have spent more time there had we not had other things planned.

Living only 300 yards away means I should visit far more often. There is so much to see in a very small area. The skill in arranging and displaying the exhibits is quite remarkable. It's well worth spending a couple of hours to do it...More
