We wandered in while doing a loop of St Austell one Thursday afternoon. It is a lovely space but was very tired.

Advertised and one of the things to see in St Austell. Found it very poor. Can't see this as an attraction.

This is a very well preserved Victorian market building. It has remained mostly in molested, and now houses a lot of independent traders. There are plaques up on the walls around the building telling you about the place. Something for everyone.

I had a quick look in here, but there wasn't much going on. A relic from the past, and no longer worth a visit.

So much more could be made of this location, it is a market house in name only, do not expect masses of stalls or market traders, they ain't there!

Interesting market, it was busy when visited (Sunday morning). A big variety in the stalls available, I particularly enjoyed the fabric and haberdashery stall where the lady was very helpful and a large range of fabric and different items were on sale, reasonably priced. I...More
