We visited today as the weather was looking dull and drizzly - couldn't believe the amount of people queued up outside, but all flowed in quite quickly, and actually plenty of space inside with a variety of fun activities for the kids - roller skating, gaming, bouncy castle, soft play, trampolining, and more.
Kids had a great time, but it was unbearably hot. Definitely need AC in here when so many people are packed in one place and kids are running around none stop for 3 hours. Never been so hot inside a building before, and kids agreed.
We didn't buy food, but from what we could see from other people the food looked great and fair prices. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area with poor weather.

The kids had a brilliant time, it’s very well organised for Covid restrictions and feels safe and clean with lovely staff. Only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is that the 1 and a half hour sessions just feel a little short. Kids were in no way ready to leave but paying for another session felt a bit much!
I think a 2hr minimum session is appropriate in a venue like this and we’d personally prefer a whole morning or whole afternoon sessions. Because of the limited time we didn’t buy food as we felt we wanted them to be playing not sat eating, when we normally would get lunch at a venue like this - so I’m sure you’d make up on food and drink anything lost on entrance fees if you had longer sessions. It felt very rushed and as it takes us 55 mins to get there, we’re unlikely to return unless sessions are increased. It’s not quite long enough!
That being said, it’s definitely on our radar for when things are more ‘normal’.

I visited with my 2 year old & 5 year old. I couldn’t find any prices online or even at the doors, we paid just under £20 for entrance, when I questioned the lady said it was inclusive for my 5 year old as he could go on everything. There were a few issues with the place, the idea and concept is great but reality we had a few issues with a few of the arrangements. Firstly you have to have hawk eyes on your children as there isn’t any overseeing from any staff in the building. My son firstly went on the trampolines, the woman monitoring this section was busy with her own child on her lap!!!? There were children I believe way too big & old to be on the trampolines, a sign says max weight 15stone however my 5 year old nearly got trampled by a particularly tall and solid 12 year old who was vigorously jumping so hard and fast he was losing control of his balance causing him to nearly fall on top of my son, when I raised the alarm to the lady she then told him to stay on his trampoline (this was only as I made her aware) to be honest this happened on both times we used them. Secondly there were some kids in the under 4 section that were hidden in a section of the soft play, which luckily I was with my 2 year old at the time but they had golf balls in their hands which made me think what they would have done with them if I hadn’t of been present!!! I had to
Again warn a member of staff, thirdly the ordering of food & cafeteria was a shambles!! If you order any hot food you have to wait for your number to be called which was a good 5-10 min wait, When in the main cafeteria the tables were full of coats and shoes for people
Reserving a place but not actually eating which meant we had to go to the other side of the soft play canteen which meant having to leave my children whilst I collect the food which was hard to hear the numbers being called, as I was alone with the pair it made me uneasy!! I ended up complaining that they should control this table Hogging to customers actually eating food not just leaving their stuff, the member of staff didn’t even bother to respond to my concerns. All these events made me feel like I had a bad taste in my mouth. Some Children just seemed way too old for the soft play and I felt I had to be with my children every second of the day to follow and protect them. Some kids were so badly behaved and climbing up slides and jumping from heights that really wasn’t safe. The best bit was definitely the dodgems and the staff there were very good.

Rubbish, wouldn’t bother.
Luckily our daughter was under 90cm, so only cost something like 30p for a morning toddler session. However was £5 with two adults.
The “soft play” was not very good and I’ve visited a fair few amount of soft plays in my time. It was more a few slides and a a minimal amount of soft play, which for the size of the building, didn’t really do it justice. Struggled to fill an hour and was ready to leave. It was cold too.
There is a much better soft play at a leisure centre in the town (unable to name it in this review) which I would highly recommend over Kidzworld.

A really brilliant place. We took our 3½ year old and our 8 month old on a rainy day and they both thoroughly enjoyed their time at Kidzworld. It's very reasonably priced and there's so much the kids can get up to in, what felt like, a really safe environment. It's also one of the cleanest soft play areas we've been too, which is a big plus, as noone likes to play on sticky obstacles. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Food at the cafe was tasty and there was a nice, but simple, variety of sandwiches, chips, nuggets etc on the menu. If there's one comment I could make regarding improvement it would be to install more seating for parents, I do appreciate they've tried really hard with this though and they can obviously only use the space they have - maybe try slimmer seating rather than bulky chairs and sofas? Just a suggestion! But all round a fabulous experience. I'd definitely recommend to other parents.

This seems to be quite expensive considering that part of the play park was closed even though we spent the same amount of money. The trampoline area was closed and my grandchildren were disappointed. It was very cold in the building and luckily I was wrapped up while the children played. This is probably only ok for children 10 years and under.

Our children from the age of 7 - 16 were entertained all afternoon. Yes there are pay as you go machines for shooting games, digger games, driving mario experience and driving motorised model cars but if you want to pay for these there is still plenty on offer for your entry fee. Outside area was not open at the time as we attended in Feb half term and main season had not yet kicked in so we understood this. Please of staff if you need any assistance or have any questions, owner actually welcomed everybody in on the door at 2pm to give a personal and welcoming experience to all. Qthey do seem to value their customers and lots of fun had by us! Worth a visit!

We came here today with my two boys age 5 and 6 as a treat before they go back to school.
We booked this morning for a mid day session (currently 1.5 hour slots) and paid online. There was a very friendly lady greeting us outside when we arrived and told us about some of the new changes they have put in place.
The place itself was spotless and all staff were very polite and friendly and helpful. It’s a huge indoor play so lots for children to do - my boys especially enjoyed the trampolines and the interactive floor. Lots of seating spaces and refreshments (no hot food at present but sandwiches, snack boxes etc)
It’s a pity we don’t live closer as this is a fantastic safe place for children to have fun and burn off some energy.
The boys can’t wait to return.

The toddler softplay would be great for the smalls- if it was specifically for smaller children.
There were much older children playing in the softplay area, one of which balled over my 16 month old and didn’t take a blind bit of notice. When I questioned the age limit for the softplay area with a member of staff they said it was up to the age of 4 and when I highlighted that much older children were playing in there the response was that they couldn’t really do anything about it.
I found this really poor as the boys in question were playing really tough and not being careful of the toddlers and babies around them! It’s a health and safety risk if nothing else surely!

Hello
We're really sorry to hear that you felt your little one couldn't play safely on your recent visit.
Kidzworld is a parental supervised facility but on busy days we also have a play supervisor on duty to help guide children to the right areas for their age group and particularly steer older children away from the toddler area. This is why it's surprising, and disappointing, that a member of the team told you there wasn't much we could do on this occasion ; even though we wouldn't have a member of staff manning that area for the whole session a repeat visit is standard and generally keeps the older ones in check. Kids can be boisterous when excited and Kidzworld does make most kids excited but we do our best to make sure that everyone has a safe time and a good time, if you ever encounter any issues on future visits, and we do hope you'll give us another try, please ask to speak to a manager so that we can help directly with the issue.
Kindest regards
Claire

On a very wet day this place was perfect to amuse the kids for a couple of hours.
Very clean and safe with enough space for our three foster kids aged 7, 12 and 17.
We booked online and I'd recommend this as there was no capacity for walk ins on the day we came. Under 30 pound for 3 adults and 2 kids.

Hi, are you open in January? Thanks

Sorry if this is too late :(
I would say no - unless you have a 7 mth very confident in ball pools etc. Main challenge is that there is no designated area for babies - bigger kids running riot through most areas when busy.
