This place is a true gem!

We visited during our family holiday and we will holiday near by again just for this play center! I only wish we had discovered it earlier in the week to make more use of it.

Accessible and nearby parking available, accessible entrance (although the doors are heavy the staff are proactive, welcoming and helpful), accessible toilet, accessible cafe, and the entire floor of the center is accessible. Of course the play equipment is not suitable for wheelchairs or frames but the most of the arcade games are.

Staff were friendly and helpful, my kids are a bit funny about food and the staff did everything to accommodate them! I was very relieved as most places don't deviate from their regular options. Food was really well priced as well, so we were happy to eat there, normally we would avoid food at play centers because its so over priced so the kids were ecstatic to be able to eat there and stay longer.

Theres loads to do - the ball firing guns were popular with our two, the trampolines as well, we went before the summer opening of the outdoor bit but we walked past it and it looked amazing so the kids were a bit disappointed. I wish they opened easter-october rather than just the summer holidays.

The play equipment and floors were clean and well maintained. There were some damaged soft foam balls in the ball gun area but this is up some stairs so not accessible for smaller children.

There was an entire area for babies, another for toddlers, a sensory area and a huge main area for all kids.

I wish there was a play center like this near home, we would visit weekly! My son has developmental disabilities and soft play is recommended by his physiotherapist but unfortunately our closest one is too expensive for us to go frequently and is small enough that they get bored easily - neither is the case with Kidzworld. The price was cheap enough for us as a family, and was great value with the amount of facilities available, it would be even better value in the summer with the outdoor facilities included.

The arcade games do cost coins but I like it this way round rather than higher entry fee to cover them - it meant there was no queues and the entry fee was affordable for us. our kids were able to understand that we bought them 2 coins each to use as they wished and it was a great skill for them to practice decision making, budgeting, maths, responsibility etc.

There wasnt any allergy friendly options in the cafe but often these places have small cafes/kitchens do not have the space to have a specific contamination free zone to accommodate allergies/intolerances so thats quite reasonable.

I like how informative the website is so we could prepare our youngest before visiting, there were no negative surprises which really helps our days run smoothly!

The toddler softplay would be great for the smalls- if it was specifically for smaller children.
There were much older children playing in the softplay area, one of which balled over my 16 month old and didn’t take a blind bit of notice. When I questioned the age limit for the softplay area with a member of staff they said it was up to the age of 4 and when I highlighted that much older children were playing in there the response was that they couldn’t really do anything about it.
I found this really poor as the boys in question were playing really tough and not being careful of the toddlers and babies around them! It’s a health and safety risk if nothing else surely!

Hello We're really sorry to hear that you felt your little one couldn't play safely on your recent visit. Kidzworld is a parental supervised facility but on busy days we also have a play supervisor on duty to help guide children to the right areas for their age group and particularly steer older children away from the toddler area. This is why it's surprising, and disappointing, that a member of the team told you there wasn't much we could do on this occasion ; even though we wouldn't have a member of staff manning that area for the whole session a repeat visit is standard and generally keeps the older ones in check. Kids can be boisterous when excited and Kidzworld does make most kids excited but we do our best to make sure that everyone has a safe time and a good time, if you ever encounter any issues on future visits, and we do hope you'll give us another try, please ask to speak to a manager so that we can help directly with the issue. Kindest regards Claire

Rather misleading the way the amenities are advertised for 2023
Previous visits have included mini golf, dodgems and outdoor play area but this year ,in August, these are closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the play area seems to be permanently closed.Very small hot food menu and in the 2-5pm session is only available for a short time .Parking is free and a very large area and access is quite easy. The prices are reasonable for what's on offer but not everything advertised is available and some advertised attractions like the golf and dodgems are extra. As there is little in the area for kids on a wet day it gets busy and it is advisable to prebook.Toilet facilities are functional but could be cleaner and the dining area is mainly occupied by parents waiting for children and not actually using the restaurant. There is also very little supervision and no organised entertainment.

On a very wet day this place was perfect to amuse the kids for a couple of hours.
Very clean and safe with enough space for our three foster kids aged 7, 12 and 17.
We booked online and I'd recommend this as there was no capacity for walk ins on the day we came. Under 30 pound for 3 adults and 2 kids.

Rubbish, wouldn’t bother.

Luckily our daughter was under 90cm, so only cost something like 30p for a morning toddler session. However was £5 with two adults.

The “soft play” was not very good and I’ve visited a fair few amount of soft plays in my time. It was more a few slides and a a minimal amount of soft play, which for the size of the building, didn’t really do it justice. Struggled to fill an hour and was ready to leave. It was cold too.

There is a much better soft play at a leisure centre in the town (unable to name it in this review) which I would highly recommend over Kidzworld.

Our children from the age of 7 - 16 were entertained all afternoon. Yes there are pay as you go machines for shooting games, digger games, driving mario experience and driving motorised model cars but if you want to pay for these there is still plenty on offer for your entry fee. Outside area was not open at the time as we attended in Feb half term and main season had not yet kicked in so we understood this. Please of staff if you need any assistance or have any questions, owner actually welcomed everybody in on the door at 2pm to give a personal and welcoming experience to all. Qthey do seem to value their customers and lots of fun had by us! Worth a visit!

Every year we come to Cornwall my kids want to come to kidzworld and always have a great day out. But they’ve made changes but not for the better.Firstly they’ve got rid of the high ropes outside. Then they’ve split the day into two sessions so you don’t get so long to play. Also the outside area with mini golf and dodgems that were great for older kids are all pay as you go whereas they used to be included in the price. The place is good for little ones but if you have older kids don’t bother. Lastly it is so hot in there and the seem to have skimped on using the air conditioning. Every time we came there was a queue at the door and it was really busy. This time it is really quiet and I’m pretty sure the changes haven’t helped 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was many time at kidzworld but after when Tokens are not included , and there’s no more climbing area is not so interesting like before. When you have child 2-8 years its ok but when you have child and teens , my teens was bored . Now better choose Flambards . Before was something for kids and teens . And before you could come any time now you have in the morning session and session afternoon. I was very disappointed with this changes. This place now its just for kids max 9 year old

A really brilliant place. We took our 3½ year old and our 8 month old on a rainy day and they both thoroughly enjoyed their time at Kidzworld. It's very reasonably priced and there's so much the kids can get up to in, what felt like, a really safe environment. It's also one of the cleanest soft play areas we've been too, which is a big plus, as noone likes to play on sticky obstacles. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Food at the cafe was tasty and there was a nice, but simple, variety of sandwiches, chips, nuggets etc on the menu. If there's one comment I could make regarding improvement it would be to install more seating for parents, I do appreciate they've tried really hard with this though and they can obviously only use the space they have - maybe try slimmer seating rather than bulky chairs and sofas? Just a suggestion! But all round a fabulous experience. I'd definitely recommend to other parents.
