I found these gardens very disappointing after looking forward to going and setting aside a day out of our holiday to Cornwall to visit. We turned around multiple times on the way there as the sat nav tried to take us down narrow country lanes...More

We heard a lot about this place from tourist brochures and ‘googling’ places to go in Cornwall. We go to Cornwall every year and felt it was about time we visited this place. This place seemed ideal as we like gardens and long walks. We...More

Visited here today with my partner and dog literally spent less than an hour here as there is nothing to see except woodland! Took use more time to find the exit! There was the sleeping lady on the grass which looked good on the photos...More

We have been to Cornwall many times and always said we would call in to see this garden. Like other visitors we came out underwhelmed. I particularly wanted to see the veg patch but was a little disappointed at what they had, it looked a...More

Overrated now. Visited here over 20 years ago and it was exciting as though something special was going on. Now it is more gift shops and tea shops and restaurants than gardens. The only interesting part really is the jungle but a boardwalk full of...More

After many years of hearing about this place, we finally decided to pay it a visit mid week I can’t in all honesty say that I enjoyed it and I think it’s a place that trades on its reputation rather than its offer. A rather...More

Beautiful and interesting find. The history behind these gardens is intriguing and the walk around them breathtaking. A must see for anyone interested in plants, natural landscapes, and the outdoors.

As far as I know there are no concessions although if you google the lost gardens of helligan you can buy a voucher that I think saves you £3 a ticket. It’s worth every penny if the entrance fee.

We can expect up to 3000 people per day in the summer however due to the sheer size of the estate (200 acres) it never feels too busy and you'll always find your own little spot.
