About Go Sea Kayak at Byron Bay
Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay is a locally owned and operated Sea Kayak adventure company that gives you the opportunity to experience Byron Bay's amazing marine life from a kayak. Imagine kayaks surrounded by local Bottlenose Dolphins, or viewing new born Humpback Whale calves migrating south with their huge mothers in winter, you can do this and more with Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay. Go Sea Kayak Byron Bay is owned by Byron Bay Surf Life Saving Club stalwart Kurt Tutt. Kurt and his local team of outdoor enthusiasts safely lead you into the wonders of Byron Bay's aquatic environment. You can cruise over ancient volcanic rock reefs which Green Turtles feed on, and surf a famous Byron Bay wave on your kayak. With our Go Sea Guarantee, if you don't see a Dolphin, Whale or Turtle on your tour you can paddle again with us for free. This tour is not only great value but also a great way to get to know Byron Bay at it's best.

we turned up at 8.30am as a group of approx 50 people on a work trip. we arrived to find “mother nature” had made the kayak tour implausible. no apology, no refund offered - our tour was replaced with a beach walk, that we could easily have organised for free ourselves. we could have been advised in advance that the surf was too rough and cancelled. wasted an entire morning of our group’s time and didn’t bat an eyelid about doing so.

Hi There, Im sorry you've got this very wrong indeed. At 7:00am this morning we called your group organiser Tom to tell him the tour is a cancel. However, unbelievably, we get told by him that you are still coming and we NEED to do something for your group. I found this ridiculous. We are a kayak company and when the ocean is rough we have to cancel. If your tour organiser did not pass on this message to your group ( which became apparent when you arrived) then what are you doing placing such trust in him. Also, I have not taken a dollar for this morning and am out $400 in wages. If you've paid your group organiser for this tour then again you've put trust in an unworthy person.I agree you shouldnt have paid for it and our company doesn,t charge people for cancelled tours. I respectfully request you contact me personally to discuss this as I think you definitely need to be given full perspective on the events of the morning and probably need to re evaluate who you deal with when it comes to organising coordinating your events. I'll be contacting Tom tomorrow to get in contact with you myself as I was far from iimpressed myself.

Dougey and Pete rocked it. This was a really excellent excursion. I was super-pessimistic that I'd see any wildlife, but not only did we see dolphins but we also saw a couple of huge sea turtles. Truth be told, though, even without the wildlife it would have been a really fun, awesome trip.

Great experience, despite unfortunately not seeing any dolphins. Saw a couple of turtles and a Ray jumping! Guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Seeing the dolphins up really close in the Kayaks was amazing. Perfect weather and not too physically demanding.
