Fun to pull off the highway to see the famous Aussie statue. It has a water feature part that wasn’t working. A cafe and a souvenir shop that also sells food and drinks are located there. As it was a Tuesday, the cafe was closed....More

We decided to stop and have a coffee break on our drive south. The toilets were first port of call. They were filthy, graffiti everywhere, no locks on the doors and paper strewn around. There is no indoors seating so we bought coffees in cardboard...More

Don't bother stopping. Olivers cafe nearby is good, but this is a waste of time. Other options along hume are better.

No water for dogs, no nice cafe, dirty toilet. Say no more. And the monument to the lovely dog has an empty fountain.

Sweet little monument to the bush story of the loyal dog with a delightful gift store. The statue is accessed through the motorway services. There is no charge to come and see it and it is worth the short detour.
