We went there late in the afternoon as part of a drive around the Jervis Bay National Park. The walk into Caves Beach itself take about 10 minutes but is well worth it. The beach is beautiful and pristine and the tidal caves there are...More

Cave Beach is a unique piece of coast! Walk-in camping facilities, no vehicles, no power and only metres from a great beach and some excellent surf. Cave Beach is long, flat and unspoilt. The surf (right-hand point break) can give a great ride and under...More

The entrance to Cave Beach is right near a campsite and the kangaroos here are quite tame and didn’t mind us giving them a little pat. Cave Beach looks like a great beach to visit. The Cave is quite shallow but makes for good photos....More

There is an $11 National Park fee entrance but you can check out multiple areas within the Park. Cave Beach is a massive beach, little bit of a trek to get there if you have young kids or carrying heavy items. It’s the only beach...More

The sand is very fine, not as white as Murray’s beach but still lovely. Stunning views from the lookout. The water is the most turquoise here, very beautiful. There are toilets & a camping site.

Huge beach, with plenty of space to spread out on. You can easily spend the day without getting board. Swim, explore the rocks, wander along the beach. FYI don’t head up into the surrounding hills on the far side, snakes are common.

Access to the beach does not allow cars, so it's a quiet beach, with beautiful rocks and clear water. Sunrise and sunshine there are amazing, a multi coloured sky.

We have camped all along NSW coast and enjoyed some well managed sites. Cave beach is in a beautiful national park with some lovely beaches. The campsite is well positioned and kangaroos are near guaranteed for those who want to see them close up. A...More

Cave Beach camp ground is a 300 m downhill walk from the carpark. Parking can be busy but there is an overflow parking area further out. The facilities include flushing toilets, cold showers, a communal bbq area and taps with clean running water. You can...More

A beautiful beach but very average facilities. A light in the showers, and at the very least, daily restocking of toilet paper would have been nice.
