With sea eagles circling over head, and a panorama to die for, this was a great introduction to the area.

We climbed to the top of Tomaree Head and then drove back here to reward ourselves with cake. It was delicious. We arrived around 10am and had our pick of parking spaces and tables, but by 10.30am car park and café were full. Really interesting...More

We spent a few hours enjoying the view from the viewing platform, visiting the Museum and Rescue station and finishing it all off with a lovely leisurely lunch - the most amazing sandwiches - filled to the brim with fresh tasty fillings and some refreshments....More

We visited the lighthouse and giftshop yesterday and enjoyed great views and a lovely location for afternoon tea. The giftshop had some unique reasonably priced items, perfect for tourists like us! Hubby had a caramel malted milkshake - he raved about this for some time...More

This is located on top of a little hill. You can walk or drive up to this place. The museum and cafe are worth checking out. And if you have time you can also visit the radio center at the top. They are friendly bunch...More

We walked up to the tea house for breakfast, admired the museum gift shop, view and had a beautiful breakfast overlooking the ocean. i would recommend this on a trip to Nelson Bay.

While the “lighthouse” was not what we expected (we were thinking traditional round lighthouse), the views were just spectacular! The road to the lighthouse is very narrow and there is limited parking at the top.(Maybe 16/17 parking spots) There is a cafe, museum and gift...More

About 25-50 metres and there’s a ramp. Many older people visit and seem to manage pretty well from car park. Hope that helps
