Friendly guidance
Sep 2019
Hats off to the very friendly staff member who took all the time to guide me in the search for a particular Nimbin dairy product. She calmly spent time referring to the online data and whatever that was available to answer my queries and gave me useful tips for my search and suggested a probable location to visit identifying it on an area map. Thank you once again for the first-class service!

Not really much information available apart from a few brochures. I actually waited for over an hour for it to open so was very disapointed

If you are looking for accommodation, restaurants, maps this is the go to place for information about Nimbin.
They won't tell you where you can buy herbs but if you ask about in the street you will find someone selling medicinal herbs.

One major problem
Apr 2018 • Family
Absolutely loved my visit to Nimbin; really quirky, friendly, and interesting. Would recommend a visit with an open mind. The information office was friendly and helpful and could not be faulted in what they offered. The town, however, has to face one major problem : it is very wheelchair unfriendly. People need to be told this in advance. I doubt if we could get into a quarter of the shops and attractions. I can see the problems as the buildings are so old and their accesses so limited, and would be difficult to change, but it is a problematic! We spent much of the day on the streets just looking into places we could not go.p. People were sympathetic and really supportive but this needs to be addressed these days. And if we can't go in, we can't spend! So it is everyone's interests to sort this out.

Amazing atmosphere of friendliness
Feb 2018 • Couples
The visitor centre was reflective of the whole of Nimbin - amazingly friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble even on what was an incredibly hot day. This little town is a MUST visit if ever in the area in fact even if you have to make a major detour do it you won't be disappointed. Wonderful clothes sold by amazing people a true reflection of the old feelings of the peace and love generation. If you have ever been to Haight Ashbury and been disappointed (like I was) then come here and have your soul lifted.
