What a great out of the way location. The beach is patrolled in the swimming months. The walk along the beachfront is totally refreshing. You also have beautiful view from either headland. They also have a cafe and restaurant. Full shower and toilet facilities.

We walk along One Mile Beach just about everyday. It is such a beautiful spot of unspoilt beauty. The views from either end of the beach are spectacular and if you like watching the sun rise you will just love watching it from the top of the huge sand dune at the northern end. Up until 9am and after 5pm... More

We visited the beach twice over the weekends. There is long stretch of beautiful white sand accompanying with cool sea wind! It's fantastic for little ones who enjoy sea and sand activities. The kamel ride for any kids over 2 year-old is a must do. No booking is required.

Probably my second favourite beach in the Port area, consistent surf and can get a really good right hander happening with the right conditions.

The grandkids learned to ride surfboards here so it is a favourite summer place. When the NE is blowing which is usually all Summer, it is best to get there early as the surf becomes quite rough and the sand stings in the strong wind. There is a Life Saver presence but not a surf club so not Life Savers... More

Had a great time jumping the waves and body boarding at this beach, it is huge and has a great cafe next to the car park.

We visited this beach last weekend and the kids loved that. It is only about 10 minutes drive from the Horizons Golf Resort where we stayed. It is about one mile long, a family friendly, patrolled beach in Anna Bay. There is a large free parking area near the beach and a nearby cafe serves Fish and Chips, Tasty Burgers,... More

This was a patrolled beach that did not have huge crowds. The water was clean and clear and the beach just beautiful.
