Visited to view a plaque to CPO Jonathan Rogers GC, as part of our Australian Tour as three generations of his descendants.
The area is well kept and appears respected and it aided our visit. Thank you to those responsible.
The entire foreshore area is covered in seagull poo so it was good to see a well maintained piece of the foreshore with tributes to the Woy Woy residents who served in various wars. There is a fenced pool next door but the water didn't...More
The park can't be missed either by car or on foot. It's turfed by many star shape lawn to remember the greats who contributed so much for the nation. From this park, you can enter the footpath/ bicycle track to Woy Woy coastal line.
The memorial park is that what it is called. It is a permanent memorial to all the service personnel who gave their lives in various conflicts. The location on the waterfront is fitting place for peace and reflection to the memory of these gallant people....More
