My daughter and granddaughter took the train ride. Nice scenery. Would have liked a little more information while riding along. Couldn't hear what they did say over the sound of the train. I guess for those who have never been on a train it would...More

We loved the scenery and the breeze the train provided on a hot day. Definitely recommend the open air cars. Biggest complaint was the train is loud and it's impossible to hear the guide. I was disappointed I missed a lot of good information.

We went this past weekend and reserved 2 seats to sit with the conductor in the cab. $25/ ticket. A nice breeze on a very hot day. Seeing the cab detach from the rest of the train was a neat experience. If you choose this...More

We took the 90 minute scenic trip and paid a little extra to be in the open air cars. It was hot outside and the breeze was a welcome. The voice over tour was fun and informative about Jim Thorpe city and the railroad. It...More
