Surprised to find this!

This small museum is worth a visit. It won't take long, and it's worth your time. A little bit of history about this artist that I never knew.

Just a very few Demuth paintings, mostly prints, other artists work and things to buy. Not worth the time or the $20. Demuth paintings are exceptional watercolors so so this Museum was a real disappointment

The Demuth truly is a hidden gem in Lancaster. Home and studio space for American artist Charles Demuth, the museum boasts a wonderful collection of this modern master's artwork. The space is utilized well, staff are always helpful and polite and the garden in the back of the museum is stunning. It is a "MUST SEE" space for art lovers... More

We were on a mission while visiting Demuth. They have an artist who hand paints silk scarves. We were looking for one for our granddaughter's 20th birthday. Our visit ended with a beautiful scarf we know she will cherish. Sadly, my husband was not able to access the museum due to being in a wheel chair. Maybe after he has... More

We thought there'd be more of his paintings on display, but seeing the house where he lived (and his history) was nice.

The Demuth correction is wonderful, rich and worth your time. His history and influence as an artist extremely valuable. The installed visiting exhibitions are well planned and executed. Take the time to visit this simple little jewel in Lancaster downtown.

Learn about one of Lancaster's premier artists. You can see where he lived and worked as well as see local artists' works - past and present in an historic building.

Interestingly sparce. Enjoyed the poetically inspired local artists. Charming, but slightly disappointing with regard to lack of Demuth originals.
