LOVED this place! So many fun vendors with a great variety of wares. If you enjoy farmer's markets and street markets, this is a wonderful stop. Mostly food, some vendors sell prepared foods which is nice for packing a snack or lunch/dinner to go. It was so darn clean too.

We visited the Central Market again today. We are locals and get to market every few months. It is always a treat. There is always a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses and breads, as well as great ethnic foods (German, Mediterranean, Indian). Our son was particularly thrilled with the quart of fresh sour pickles! Today we got... More

Central Market is a must visit area when you're in the Lancaster area. Fresh fruits and veggie's when in season. A lot of local crafts and other hand made items. Visit this place and you'll want to come by.

We came to this farmers market while visiting Lancaster and I want to go back, this place was crowded with locals coming to get fresh fruit and vegetables. We were unable to purchase some this time but I have plans on going back in the Spring and picking up some of these amazing goodies. There was so much to choose... More

Central Market is a great place for locals to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables and meals, but it is equally "interesting" for tourists to wander through. There are also stands with touristy things as souvenirs.

I live here, I go here at the least once a month. There is no better place for fresh fruits and vegetables in the summer and interesting treats year round.

Was #8 on a CNN freshest markets in the world survey. Lots of fresh in season produce and baked goods. People from around the world visit. Best time of year is Spring through Fall when the local Lancaster County farm produce is in season. The market is open Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday all year round.

We enjoyed wandering through this large, indoor Farmer's and Amish Market. You can purchase prepared food, sandwiches, coffee and snacks from various merchants, and there are a few tables for eating. The market offers justt about anything you can think of; meat and produce, flowers, candy, gifts, bakery items, etc.
