We have been looking at an Escape Room activity for a while so when a Groupon for 6 people at Jokers are wild was available, I bought one as we are vacationing in Pocono mountain, PA. ($33us) Location is situated in front of a Central Park, middle of Lehighton business district. Free parking right at the park or paid in front of the store. Staff was proficient and amicable. We received our instructions on what we can search and manipulate in a 10*10' room furnished with antique/old furnitures. Her instructions were clear and direct. The whole game was fun, exciting and engaging for 5 of us. Great fun! They also have board games and magic card trading on site. Good old fashion family fun!

Went here on a rainy morning with 11, 13, and 15 year olds and ended up staying through lunch and doing 3 of the 4 themes they offer. Because of weather we didn’t need reservations but others came in after us when they were booked for the rest of the day, so I would reserve ahead of time. It was also nice because we didn’t have to share the game with strangers, so the 5 of us had the room to ourselves. We used Groupon and it was very easy to use, compared to other escape rooms where sometimes the Groupon can be a pain in the neck, like only can be used on weekdays. Here there are no Groupon restrictions, and no special code to enter on website. The escape designs were pretty creative - some of which we haven’t experienced at other places. Also swapping out the different themes using the same room is business genius, although I would have preferred more of a change in surroundings. There’s nothing fancy here and the props are getting some wear and tear so they should be replaced. I really like when escape rooms have good red herrings and there were plenty here so you’ve really got to focus and think. The manager and staff were helpful and pleasant. The kids stayed a little longer afterwards to play some board games. We’re looking forward to returning to do the most difficult theme room. You could easily spend the better part of a day here with friends/family and spend some quality time.

We originally heard about the cafe when exploring options for activities to do on our trip to Jim Thorpe. We stumbled upon a Groupon and decided the escape room would be worth a try. So glad we did! At the time of our visit there were three escape experiences available of various difficulties. The woman we encountered inside was extremely friendly and was happy to tell us a little about the cafe and the experience ahead of us. Since this was our first escape room experience we probably shouldn’t have picked Level III difficulty but you know, YOLO. There is a single room dedicated to the escapes but their setup is relatively simple allowing for a quick change from one experience to another. One great thing to note is that you are presented with three hint certificates while in the room. If you really get stumped just ring a bell in the room and someone will give you a slight hint. This is great because they don’t just give things away but rather lead you to the answer. The prices are ver reasonable here across the board. You may also choose to pay a small fee to play board games. There is a huge selection available (list available on their website) and I believe the fee is $2.50 per person for the first hour then $1 per person per hour thereafter. [Current at the time of writing the review]. I truly hope this establishment has great success and is thriving the next time we have the opportunity to visit the area. I highly recommend anyone especially those traveling with family and friends to drop by and give this great local spot some business!

Stopped by for an afternoon of fun while visiting the Poconos region. We did an escape room experience & stayed for board games. Very family friendly environment. Food was good & reasonably priced. Friendly and attentive staff... Tonia was very responsive via email when booking our reservation and Lora took great care of us! Would definitely recommend a visit to Jokers Are Wild if passing through town!
