The renovations to the Fort are excellent. The presentation of historical information in a user friendly manner is very well conceived . There casual visitor can enjoy the authentic historical setting without being bogged down in too much detail .

The interpretation in the visitor Center is a bit wordy and difficult to follow, but the fort itself is well worth the wander. The staff responded really well to thoughtful queries. Learn something about Lieutenant Colonel George Washington on his first campaign!

What a great way to spend a few hours in Ligonier, Pa. The guides are very well versed in history in general and specifically about the French and Indian War. The museum has a treasure trove of artifacts from which the Smithsonian has borrowed. I...More

Well done historic fort and museum. If you can attend during Ligonier Days in mid October. Very nice re-enactment and cannon firing demonstration.

Overall good Historic experience, It takes ~2hrs for a tour. John Kolomay was a very knowledgeable guide and great at storytelling. I would recommend visiting this Historic site.

The actual fort is great and worth seeing. Disappointed in the center that is not completed or they are remodeling, not sure which. A lot of 'coming soon' signs where there should be displays.

I think 2-21/2 hours would be about right to see everything and enjoy all the written documentation. If you breezed thru the museum, probably an hour and a half.
