The view from here is fabulous, watching the sun drop down towards the river, framed by woods on each side. My kids loved the freight train that went by the base of the overlook while we were there.

The Susquehanna river is one of the great old rivers in this country. The overlook is a great place to see it from. Easy access and nice wide trail make for a great stop. Very close to the northwest walking trail also.

Nice trails and views of the river. If you have some luck there are fossils to be found in the rock.
