Hoot’s has been a McKeesport staple for a great fish sandwich for years. During Lent you better get there early or you won’t get in. Service is great! They also have many other delicious sandwiches and burgers. Also homemade soups daily.

This is a bar in the truest sense of the word bar but the fish sandwich -- unbelievable. The place is what you would expect in an old Mill town but the food is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable

The one pound fish sandwich is the best around. Add the fresh homemade French fries and homemade coleslaw and you have enough for two.

Love their fish sandwiches. Their small fish comes on a hoagie bun. Their salads are huge also and very good. This is mainly a bar with a small eat in section closed off in back. The service is good and so is all the food.

Good bar food. Very good sandwiches. Very affordable. Small restaurant-seating off of the bar. In a nice neighborhood.

I grew up and still live in the McKeesport area. This bar / restaurant is typical of what is left in McKeesport. Do not expect fancy tables or waitresses at Hoots. This is steel town Pittsburgh at its best. No matter what you order it...More
