Hiking, horseback riding, painting, photography - whatever is your fun thing to do, you can do it here year-round. I love the grounds around the mansion. Wonderful history there. Very inspirational from an artistic perspective. Pack a lunch and stay a while.

Over the years and many visits to the Media/West Chester areas I have found this to be a good place for a quiet hike. Saw a couple of deer and very few people o a cool day in late October.

The mansion and the surround walkways invite visitors to go exploring! What a beautiful place to begin exploring the Pennsylvania countryside! We especially enjoyed the well marked paths. Lots of wildlife along the paths in the late afternoon!

Nice varied trails, we did the horse/hikers trails so nothing was paved. Wide paths to walk on, can get hilly but nothing overly steep. Do not recommend going during rain or right after rain because it will be muddy.
