Nice History Lesson

My family and I always make it a point to walk through the mill after eating at the Waterwheel Cafe. Fun to see the working wheel and read about the history of it all.

My wife wanted to return to this complex to shop at "Denim or Lace". It is an excellent women's boutique with very stylish clothes that you are not likely to find elsewhere. The prices are no more than you would pay at a major department store. The owner/operator, Linda, is very personable and helpful, as well as fashionable in her... More

Very interesting old building was disappointed that the water wheel at this time not working, there is a sign that it will be it the future. There is no fee and you walk thru on your own which was nice. It's only a few minutes from the heart of town so it is worth seeing

Nice self guided tour that gives overview of the wheel and it's users over time. It's a short visit and located near the cafe.

It is clear that those who tend to the the Upper Mill love what they do. The building is in great shape as well as the mill and explanation diagrams and drawings. The Mill is open for visitors and there is no fee, you could and should leave a donation in a box. I always thought that millers had the... More

A fascinating look into an old, enormous mill. A wonderful look into the past. Worth the visit. Liked the multilevel, multistage look at the original machinery.
