I do love the Pennsylvania state parks, and I also love this out-of-the-way state park. There are very few amenities here except the sounds of nature at its finest, I like this place, and if love nature, you will, too.

My husband, daughter and I spent July 4th weekend at Reed's Gap. Only half of the 14 Tent Only campsites were taken, you couldn't get over the fact it was a holiday weekend and it was peaceful. We did some trout fishing, a bit late...More

This park at one time had a built in swimming pool and the place was always busy. They removed the pool and now the place is hardly used. How sad. It still has camping.

If you're looking to escape, then Reeds Gap is a great place to do it. It's a nice short ride from Burnham, and it's great for anyone looking for some back to nature time and peace and quiet.

This park is a 9 mile drive from Milroy, but well worth it. The drive to the park is picturesque, through hills, farms and Amish areas. Arriving at the park, you would be smart to check in at the ranger station and get a map,...More
