Wow -what a beach. We loved it here and the weather was amazing. Just a short walk from the car park and boom - you're greeted by a beautiful stretch of clean golden sand and a beautiful azure.

This beach is unbelievable, so pretty and turqoise waters. Park in the main carpark and take the coastal path up to the the Minack Theatre is spectacular.

Easily the most beautiful beach i have ever been to..beautiful white sand and green sea with Logan Rock nearby, the car park fee of £3 was well worth it.It is however a good 400 metres along a pathway that although not steep, could be tricky for people with mobility issues....but worth it for what greets.....absolutely stunning.visited may 9th 2017

A really beautiful beach with almost white sand set next to a turquoise sea with Logan Rock in the background. When the sun shines there is nowhere else I'd rather be. Just don't put sun-cream on and lie on the sand as it is made up of ground shell and will stick like crazy. Good sized car park not far... More

Being solo traveler, porthcurno beach is one of the best you could visit for a calm, peaceful and serene beaches in England. It's a hidden gem in Cornwall. I walked early in morning before sunrise and experienced a amazing sunrise. Being the only person at the beach around that time was an amazing experience. There is a bus from Inverness... More

Beautiful sandy beach with turquoise water and a small stream running down the left side. A short 5 minute walk down from the large carpark, there are a few steps leading to the beach but easily manageable for children. We spent a good five hours relaxing on and exploring porthcurno beach. If the weather had been warmer we would have... More

This place has a stunning beach, the excellent Minack open air theatre and the fascinating Telegraph Museum. So I recommend, get tickets for a performance at the Minack then you can use their car park for free for the day and then walk down to the beach and the museum.

As seems to be the case in England you have to pay to park in the carpark and the walk down to the beach is through scrubland that gives no clue as to the beauty of the beach ahead of you. The sand was golden although not the finest we experienced in Cornwall and the water was really clean and... More

We visited Porthcurno during our recent visit to Cornwall. We drove all the way up the cliff (Minack Theatre) and viewed the beach from the top of the cliff. The view of the ocean and the beach was awe-inspiring. There is a route to climb down but we didn't do it as we had young children with us. In our... More
