The Martin guitar factory private tour is the way to go. Two hours just flys by. Incredible perspective and insight on the making of these fine guitars. Our guide retired as plant manager after 40 years. He knows it all. Even if you don't play this is s great learning experience.

Brother Dean and I, accompanied by our wives, made a day trip to Nazareth, PA and home of the world famous Martin Guitar, to tour the factory. This is a must see place for guitar enthusiasts, whether a guitar builder like Dean, collector, accomplished musician, or just a wannabe player like me. The factory tour and museum visit was highlighted... More

Books on aging have suggested that older folks are happier and can keep sharper if they learn a musical instrument. This fascinating place was a treasure house of information on guitars -- their tour was very informative and I learned a great deal. Haven't decided on whether to take it up, but this tour really gave me a great deal... More

We spent over 3 hours touring the plant, visiting the museum and gift shop and playing some amazing Martin guitars. Everyone we met and spoke with were very courteous and helpful. Every guitar player should put this place on the visit list.

Worked there as a guitar body sander and tour guide. Many people have never been to the Martin Guitar Factory. The tours and the museum are free. Tour the plan and watch the making of Martin Guitars from start to finish. The museum has many displays of old and new Martins and information about some people who own one.

Taking the backstage tour, which required a fee and advance reservations, is highly recommended for anyone who plays a guitar, loves or lives with a guitarist, loves acoustic guitar music, or who appreciates fine craftsmanship. The Martin factory shows you up close and personal how their guitars are made. You'll see how various standard guitars are made as well as... More

This was an incredible tour if you like to see how factories work, love all stringed instruments and want to see how supa'stars get their custom stuff. The tour is cool and you really learn every part of how to make the very best instruments available. If you play or occasionally make noise from a ukelele this is super cool... More

This is a great way to spend a few hours. It is informative and shows how the guitars are made. They have a very good museum that tell the history, and shows many of the products and people that have used Martin over the years. The factory tours was good, our guide was knowledgeable. I would recommend this to everybody.

Hubby and I brought his parents to visit a friend, nearby. I had sprained my ankle the day before so fortuitously and spontaneously decided to forgo golf and head to Martin Guitars, while they visited. We were both thrilled we did. We were in time for the next tour of the factory but it was filled so we spent a... More

I have played Martin guitars for years and when we decided to take a trip to Philadelphia, I had to earmark some time for a trip out to Nazareth. Luckily we planned ahead and were able to get into one of the Behind the Scenes tours (which is different from a general tour). This tour took about two hours and... More
