This was my second visit to the Martin Guitar factory. The first time I took the free tour, and decided after that if I ever return, I’d take the Behind the Scenes Tour. So that is what I took this time. It was well worth the $25. If you love guitars, want to love guitars, or just interested in wood... More

It is wonderful how all over the U.S., one can come upon such gems like Martin Guitars to visit. The tour of the production facility was just fabulous, led by Cindy, who usually can be found in an office but shifted gears to head our tour when the number of visitors on the day we visited far exceeded the number... If you play guitar this is an absolute "must see". If you love music, craftsmanship, dedication, and some great stories - you must go. Martin guitars started in 1833. Today they are made in a state-of-the-art factory that combines robotic production elements with hand made ones that demonstrate skills learned over years. Martin guitars are exceptionally fine products as reflected... More

Martin Guitar offers free tours of their facility where you can actually see people creating the guitars. It is a very interesting process and the workers are all skilled artists. You may have to wait to get on a tour. You can spend that time in great museum there with an amazing number of beautiful guitars and interesting historical information.

My wife and I trekked to Nazareth, PA to visit the C. F. Martin guitar factory and museum. We started with the free one-hour factory tour. Led by a retired factory employee, and helped by an audio set tuned to our guide's microphone, we saw every step in the manufacture of Martin acoustic guitars, including seeing many workers doing their... The Martin guitar factory private tour is the way to go. Two hours just flys by. Incredible perspective and insight on the making of these fine guitars. Our guide retired as plant manager after 40 years. He knows it all. Even if you don't play this is s great learning experience.

Brother Dean and I, accompanied by our wives, made a day trip to Nazareth, PA and home of the world famous Martin Guitar, to tour the factory. This is a must see place for guitar enthusiasts, whether a guitar builder like Dean, collector, accomplished musician, or just a wannabe player like me. The factory tour and museum visit was highlighted... More

Books on aging have suggested that older folks are happier and can keep sharper if they learn a musical instrument. This fascinating place was a treasure house of information on guitars -- their tour was very informative and I learned a great deal. Haven't decided on whether to take it up, but this tour really gave me a great deal... More

We spent over 3 hours touring the plant, visiting the museum and gift shop and playing some amazing Martin guitars. Everyone we met and spoke with were very courteous and helpful. Every guitar player should put this place on the visit list.
