Try the ziplining and tree top adventure!

Had a great time for the nighttime zip lining. Would definitely do that again. The zoo is small but a nice hidden gem in town.

I wasn't expecting anything grand, but winter or not, this was almost a waste of time. I feel like you can find better animals and displays in free zoos. This cost $10.95 a person (discounted for the winter). Some animals hid in their shelters because of the cold (to be expected) while the giraffe was put indoors for the winter... More

What a fun little zoo! We visited over Christmas break and were pleasantly surprised. It's not a super big zoo, but it has some "big ticket" animals like Jaguars and giraffes. It also has a large Bald eagle open air exhibit. You are able to get pretty close to see a lot of the animals. And for a super up... More

Although it was December, I expected to see some animals. I took my grandsons for a day out and if it wasn't for a very nice playground within the zoo the trip would have been a complete waste of time. Basically all we saw were a few birds and a couple of farm animals.

This is a great zoo for families with young kids! While you won't see lions or gorillas, the animal selection is exciting and varied. The exhibits are well maintained and offer a close up experience. If you go at the right time, there are no lines or crowds by the exhibits. Other perks: all of the benches and picnic tables.... More

Parking lot is good and easy & free. Paying was fast & easy as we came pretty early so there was no crowds at 11:30am. The employee though, did not ask if we wanted anything extra like feeding the giraffes. It is $4 extra and you pay at the main ticket booth. 97% of the animals were awake and running... More

This is a truly delightful and well-managed small-town zoo. We took our 3 granddaughters, ages 5, 9 and 10 during a Fall school holiday. You won't see the big animals like lions, bears and elephants, but you will have a fabulous up-close experience with the giraffes, wolf, eagles, buffalo and others - and much closer than you would at the... It is a bit upsetting to think of a small zoo so close to the Philadelphia zoo, a landmark, but the Elmwood zoo is a great experience for the younger set and easier to see it all in a short time frame. There is a bridge that allows you to look down on some animals and, at present, there is... More

The Elmwood Park Zoo is a child's fantasy. You can feed the giraffes, watch the prairie dogs pop up out of their holes, listen to the gibbons yell, try a zip line, just a great time for all.

The Elmwood Park Zoo is a small zoo that is fun for the entire family and people of all ages. You don't have to be a child to enjoy the zoo. We visited the zoo for a family event for Temple University alumni and their families from 2-6pm on 10/2/16. Stella the Great Horned Owl is Temple University's mascot and... More
