We stumbled upon this place, after leaving Gettysburg. You can't miss it, because of the giant elephants and various sculptures that decorate the grounds. That alone, is fun to walk around, and explore. Inside, there's a free museum, displaying thousands of different elephants - really incredible to take in. The rest of the shop has a variety of old time... More

Mister Ed's is definitely unique in its own right. A massive candy shop adorned with elephant memorabilia is something that's hard to miss. They're a small ground to walk around outside and a small museum collection in the back. The amazing selection of sweets of all kinds makes this a stop with making.

Fun for adults and kids alike. Lots of elephants inside and out - fun, kitschy, what you'd expect from a place like this. Lots of candies, peanuts and fudge available for purchase. Even some hard to find sodas like Moxie. Worth a stop if in the area.

Not really worth a special trip, but if you're visiting Gettysburg or the surrounding area, it's a fun stop. The garden is cute, but a bit strange. The elephant museum is very small in area, but packed with all sorts of elephant knick knacks and oddities. The candy selection is awesome. We found so many great candies that we enjoyed... More

I've never seen so many elephants before, even including large herds on safari in Africa. Wonderful selection of candies -- great for those young at heart including this codger.

Located west of Gettysburg on Route 30, you can't miss the big candy elephant at the entrance. Every candy - past and present - is available here in the Candy Emporium along with fabulous fudge! It's hard not to become a kid again in this candy shop. The Elephant Museum section is stunning in the quantity and variety of elephant... More

College friends were off for - reunion after 45 years. Traveling on route 30 for a tour of the battlefield , we passed the oddest roadside "museum" that we knew we had to stop in the next day. Big elephants, knickknacks and some old fashioned penny candy and fudge.
