The dinner was excellent. Great food and just enough to fill. Drinks are high-priced but water easily available. Ride was smooth and relatively quiet. Unlike some city cruises, this one moved swiftly along tree lined cliffs and woods. The 2.5 hours moved quickly by and...More

We have done the sightseeing cruise on the Gateway Clipper a few times. We brought some guests with us who had not been to the city. They loved the overview of the sites and history of the city presented by the guide. She was great...More

I'm not sure how the dinner cruise or other tours are but the History of Pittsburgh tour was a bit dry. The narrator for our cruise was reading from a script. He often pauses at odd parts in the sentence. The content of the script...More

This is a first class operation. It's a one stop shop. You can drinks before go out. You get seated and the food is served. It was a nice day so we went up to the deck and talked and saw some wonderful sights. I...More

Easy parking, simple payment,/ticketing, and friendly service. We got on the boat 30 min before first pitch at PNC and they dropped us off at the gate with enough time to get to our seats before it started. Return trip left 30 min after the...More

This boat ride is great because the wife found it on line, booked our trip while we were driving there. We took to tour just before going to the PNC Ball Park, and our seats were facing all the highlights of the boat tour. Allot...More

Took a friend from Maryland on this short, but informative boat ride on the 3 rivers. Learned about my city and was quite satisfied with the historic information that makes our city "special"! I know it impressed my visitor (it helped that we had a...More

This is a worthwhile attraction if you're in Pittsburgh. The tickets are cheap and the views are amazing, definitely sit on the top of the boat. The tour gives a fairly comprehensive view and explanation of some impressive architecture. There is also a nice overview...More

We bought a Groupon for Gateway Clipper and with a discount code it was a bit less than $12/person, so make sure to check Groupon for a deal before buying your tickets. The boat ride was around an hour and was a nice relaxing way...More

We've been on the Clipper many of times throughout the years. From ferrying to and from games or Thanksgiving Dinner to just a city tour you can't go wrong.

I just road the boat from the stadium to Station Square. The dinner cruise has a DJ and a dance floor. The lock and dam cruise has pirates on board to entertain the children.
