It may just be me but I balked at a visit to the zoo..... we were grown adults without children on this trip. I was thinking, BORING. But I was so wrong. I became enamored with the animals and watching them go about their business in the beautiful enclosures they are housed in. We spent more time than we (I)... More

This zoo is a wonderful delight that I have been visiting with my parents since the 80's! My parents were visiting here before I was born. Now, today, with my own family, we love, enjoy, and support this zoo!! We prefer to visit during the fall, winter, and spring cause it's not too busy, or too hot, and the animals... More

Most of the animals were active and the Aquarium was fantastic. Great place to visit with kids even in winter.

Probably 100's of visits. They are constantly upgrading and updating the habitats and collections with a share and share alike mentality. I've seen dozens of zoos around the world, and the PPG remains my favorite.

This place was very well maintained. We went there on a cloudy afternoon, the lines for the ticket though long were manageable. It's worth buying the ticket for the hop on and off train, it will allow you to go places and you can get down to the place of your choice. They had a wide variety of animals right from... More

Looking from the outside in the Zoo and aquarium look extremely run down and like a ghost town. Once you get to the exhibits and cages it becomes a whole different place. It's very beautiful and the animals were very lively! Great price for the two attractions as well! Can't wait to come back in the summer and see all... More
