Heinz Hall is the perfect place to hear a symphony orchestra, either the famous Pittsburgh Symphony or the Pittsburgh youth symphony, full of future stars. The acoustics are excellent, and the huge hall is quite impressively decorated, creating a perfect atmosphere for enjoying classical music.

We went to Pittsburgh Symphony here and had tickets in the back of the orchestra. The stage is lively and the acoustics were great. Enjoyed the Pittsburgh Symphony—very impressive.

I sat there and it was pretty nice. It’s a more intimate setting because you don’t have an entire row of people that you have to move for or step over if someone happens to get up.

We like to arrive about an hour before the curtain rises. This will give you plenty of time to use the restroom, enjoy a cocktail and take in the ambience of the beautiful Heinz Hall.
