The place was under construction, but the friendly staff did a fantastic job of organizing the crowds to keep the tasting process moving. As a lover of sweet ciders I wasn't overly optimistic since on their website they really only provide descriptions of what I'm assuming are their flagship drier ciders. Well, I ended up being dead wrong and absolutely... More

Arsenal Cider House is a family owned business that has some of the best Ciders I have yet to try. You can purchase it by the glass, or invest in a growler. Growlers are $20 but you can bring it back for a refill for $15. They have all of their ciders listed on a blackboard above the bar and... More

These ciders are so darn good!!! I live in San Francisco and I have yet to find ciders that are as good as the ones Arsenal Cider House is brewing up. The backyard was perfect on a sunny day. The only thing I wish that they had was a sampler for $20 or so where you get 4-5 ciders in... More

Great place to visit for a beer or two! Tasting was free and included 3 samples. They had a long list of available ciders of various flavors and alcohol content. Definitely worth a visit! If we lived closer we would have bought several growlers to take home but we didn't have any way to keep it cold for our drive.... More

Driving through and had to stop to refill my growlers from my first stop. It was just as good as I remembered. Definitely worth going out of the way on my trip around Pittsburgh.

Beer is great. Outdoor table area is spacious and offers ample space for groups or with quiet dates. You can bring your own snacks or spend a lot of money on the weak cheese trays. But the beer is great. Try the beer. :)

I was first introduced to Arsenal Cider when my cousin brought me some for Christmas and it was nice to finally get to visit their location. They've got a great variety of cider and we bought a growler to share and several to take with us. While small, the location has a nice atmosphere with a Civil War theme so... More

We rented bikes from downtown and rode to Lawrenceville, ending up at Arsenal. The quaint cidery is welcoming -- tables, music, BBQ and a long list of sips to try. You can also buy a growler from inside if you'd like to take some away with you.

We went to taste cider as a potential wedding beverage and we each tasted 4 different apple and fruit products. The outdoor setting is just perfect for sipping cider (not through a straw:) and I would love to have a gathering right there. Definitely going to get cider for the wedding!
