Beautiful hikes at McConnells Mill, a covered bridge to walk or drive through and the old 1862 mill itself to see (rebuilt in 1868 after a fire). We arrived early am, so were able to park at the small Alpha Pass parking lot. From there,...More

Went there right after some pretty significant flooding back in 2016, though the site won't let me post about the year I went. Water was really high and was spectacular to hike beside a safe distance away. Trails are not accessible to folks who are...More

I am from this area and it is always fun to return and remember my younger days, hanging out at this park with family and friends. It never gets old, and is a part of my upbringing and history.

First thing don't forget water, that was my one regret. It truly is a fun experience. The rocks and waterfalls are very unique and intriguing. It really is something worth seeing.

We hiked the whole, woodsy, shaded loop at this park. It made a good activity for a hot day, what with the shade and all. It was OK, just not anything special. Seeing an old mill was at least a bit educational and interesting. But,...More
