Very interesting tour of America's second oldest brewery. The eternal tap at the end has unlimited tastings of the various beers. Be sure to make a reservation well ahead of time as the tours are once per day and for small groups. Check their shoe requirements on the website as there are lots of steps.

Had a total of 5 different beers on tap. A few bottles of their seasonal beers as well to try out for free. Great place to visit with friends.

We stopped in here with friends. This is a brewery which looks untouched by time! They have an "eternal tap" where you can pop in and fill a plastic cup up to two times. Was definitely an interesting and fun "local culture" stop.

This is a family owned brewery which offers a free tour. The tour was very nice and informative. There are a few stairs, so you will need to be able to climb the stairs in order to take the tour. Also, you may want to bring a light jacket for when you go into the refrigeration part of the tour.... More

We always stop at the brewery when we are in town to pick up some of their great beer to take home. They are now brewing a large variety of beers to compete with the many micro breweries that seemed to be popular now. I stick with there mainstay brews, but to each his own. Nice gift shop and the... Took the family to visit the Straub Brewery and partake of the free tour. Great little operation with all the nuances of a family owned business. We were provided a most informative explanation of the brewing process and saw, hands-on, the entire manufacturing process. All very cool and interesting. And, at the end, fresh, cold beer at the "endless tap".... More

What a great time. A must-see tour and worth the trip to St. Mary's. Our tour guide Roseanne was excellent, informative, and fun. We have toured many breweries over the years but this was the first of the American Legacy breweries. Our reward for visiting was the famous Eternal Tap....Awesome....the best!

We were passing through St. Mary's PA on our way to the Finger Lakes district, and spent the morning touring this unique brewery before getting back on the road. The hour-long tour is fascinating, with the very knowledgable guide describing the history of the brewery and its owners (fifth generation), how beer is made, bottled, labeled, and packaged, where the... We had a tour of the place. It has a tap that's always on. You could actually have two free beers. You also get when you go through the tour a ice cold beer right off the line. There are several flights of stairs though. I have a bad knee so it was kind of tough for me. I said... More
