It's the best of PA State Parks. Perfect blend of activities and serenity. It doesn't have the attractions that Rickett's Glen and Ohio Pyle have to offer but it also doesn't have the crowds. Besides, Ohio Pyle is a pretty close day-trip if you want...More

We stayed 4 nights in early May and loved it. Spring was bursting out all over and during the week were the only ones there other than the camp hosts. The RV/camping spaces are large in relative terms and the facilities well maintained. We used...More

We pulled in with our rental Class B and was almost empty. Absolutely beautiful park! Great campsites, nice bathrooms/showers. We did have time to enjoy the rest of the park but would love to come back!

This is my favorite place to spend time with friends and family. I like that it is dog friendly because my friends and family love to bring our dogs with us. Its a great place to have a nice day while enjoying nature.

A great place to spend the day. The hiking is easy to moderate. You can spend an hour or the day, plenty of trails and water features to keep you busy, or kick back and relax. It is a quite and peaceful place.

We camped at Laurel Hill State Park for 4 nights. Sites #201,#203 were very shaded and beautiful. Private settings with very clean, albeit slightly outdated, rest rooms and showers. Dish wash areas connected to bathroom were also very clean. Doors did not slam at the...More

What a great state park. Went on a 6 mile loop hike - including by Jones Mill dam. Visited the beach/swim area. If I had found this place earlier in our trip, definitely would have spent more time here. There are kayak/canoe rentals (bike too)....More

Hello, Aug is usually our warmest month, but nothing like Florida at this time. You do have many water options here, beach access, paddleboats, paddleboards, and kayak rentals
