The brief house tour was interesting and provided good insight into the traditions of Amish families. The animals were sweet, but I did not like that the horse, mule, etc. were confined to small stalls and there was no staff around to make sure that guests of the farm were treating the animals well. Most of the buildings were closed... More

My husband and I went to check this out. We ended up buying the premium package they offer. It was well worth the money. You get to tour an Amish house with a tour guide who explains a lot of things and answers any questions. You can also tour the barn, schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, a gift shop and a shop... More

I highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to see the the true Amish way of life. We had a private tour with Dav, his knowledge was exceptional and we were never rushed. We saw houses, farms, schools and sampled local produce. This was an amazing day and I thank Dav for making it special.

Visited here a few weeks ago and enjoyed it very much. We took the basic house tour and then did the grounds with adjacent buildings ourselves. There is a stable, single room schoolhouse , gift shop, barnyard, and playground for the kids. There are several carriages for pictures and a small covered bridge. There are endless photo ops here and fun... More

My wife and I visited here while on a two-week bus tour. This Amish Village is a showcase of the simple and religious way of life that the Amish brought to Pennsylvania in the 1700's and that continues today. Although the Village is owned and staffed by non-Amish, the reverence and respect for the Amish way of life is handled... More

We took the all included tour. First a tour of an Amish house by an "English" (non Amish person) who has lived as a neighbor (to them) for many years. Then a bus tour that took us through their houses, farms, and business. Both tour guides were amazing, accurate, and entertaining. In one of the business we bought bread, butter,... More

Disclaimer: We did not partake of the bus tour. So we cannot comment on it. Our tour guide for the Amish house was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful demeanor. Even though we both knew a little information beforehand, we both learned several things during the tour. The tour guide kindly hung around for a few minutes afterwards for questions... More
