Movies at a great price!
Jun 2019 • Couples
If you can wait a little after a new movie is released, you will save a lot of money by going to Kendig Square. Movies are only $3, popcorn is cheap and drinks have free refills. Sure, they don’t have reclining seats, but you can still see movies on the big screen. The theater is a little run down, but if you are on a budget, this is the best priced theater in Lancaster County. We love it!

Low Price, Great Seats!
Aug 2019
It always amazes me when I go here to see a movie. Three dollar tickets and a choice of several movies. You can usually have any seat in the place. There may be three or five other people to watch that particular movie. The seats are comfy. Plenty of parking.

Somewhat dated bargain movie theater

This is a good place to see a movie that's been out for a couple months that you (1) wanted to see in a movie theater, but (2) didn't want to spend $10+ a ticket at a nicer "first-run" theater.

5 of us saw "The Secret Life of Pets 2" yesterday afternoon for the dirt-cheap matinee (pre-4:00pm) price of $3 a ticket. After throwing in 4 drinks and two decent-sized popcorns, our total spent was a paltry $37. Again, for FIVE people. You really can't beat that.

The lobby and theater (and bathrooms) are nothing great like the newer mega theaters but they're totally fine if you want a movie and snack without maxing out your credit card.

Second Time Around

Kendig Square is a great place to see a movie that is almost new but not at new prices. No reclining seats but who cares. Popcorn and drinks at good prices. And they are refilable.

Bargain priced

Second run films for very little money. The theaters are basic, but ok. If you are willing to wait a few weeks, it is a bargain.

Great fun, low price!

My friend took me to see THE BOOK CLUB. It was laugh out loud wonderful. The theater was basically empty- maybe 30 people. Plenty of room. Cup holders a plus.

Always good!

We go to see after-prime-release movies at a bargain price - $3 each for seniors! The seats are basic - no recliners. The theaters are small - but not tiny. The choice is 6 movies. The theater is easily accessed. The staff is good. It's a great place to catch the good flicks well after the prime prices.

You get what you pay for

This theater is small, often the floor is sticky and a couple times I have gone, they're credit card machine is down. It's ok, if you're trying to see how your little one will handle being a the movie theater, but most of the time, by the time Kendig gets the movies they're also in redbox, so for a fraction of the cost you can watch the movie from the comfort of your own home. We usually opt for redbox.

A bargain
Jun 2018
Low pricing, especially for seniors. Not plush, but comfortable and clean. Others there remarked that the refreshment stand prices were reasonable.
