I can’t wait to go back here! There’s so much beautiful to this spot, but my favorite part is the culinary herb garden.

This place is right in the middle of North Kingstown, and the location on the water is gorgeous. The house was closed when I went (hence the 4 stars and not 5), but there's still lots to see. Their culinary/medicinal/dye garden is beautiful and well...More

You can only walk the grounds if it is not during tour hours - no longer offering self guided tours inside the house. My mother in law used to be a docent here, and there are lots of interesting things about the house and property...More

This strangely named historic building has an interesting story but you have to take the tour to learn it, otherwise it's just an old house. It's a volunteer labour of love and it shows when they give tours.

If you read a bit on your own, this can still be a worthy stop if the tours aren't running. The grounds are beautiful and a couple gardens have their own story to tell.

Well maintained historic site with much history and nick knacks. Stop by and visit for understanding of beginnings of the colonies and life here.

Small attraction. If you are a history buff, it is good to hear about patriots who shaped our country and hear about life with the local indians. The house is small and the visit will be more about the "talk" as the building and furnishings...More

Beautiful colonial home takes you back in time. Tour guide was excellent and knowledgable about the home, area and past residents. Admission was not expensive and worth the trip.

Was up in the area visiting friends for the Memorial Day weekend & this is one of a number of things we checked out. Though they lived 10 minutes away, my friends that are native to R.I. hadn't yet had the chance to check it...More
