On the Beaufort River and loaded with wonderfully, unique and fascinating shops and ware. Well worth the stop.

There are a line of swings along the water front. It's a wonderful place to sit and watch the boats going by. (And see the draw bridge open and close.) There's also a wonderful playground overlooking the water.

It was a very enjoyable walk with many interesting shops and restaurants. We especially liked the glass shop where I purchased an exquisite glass egret.

Bay Street which fronts the waterfront contains the usual variety of shops and restaurants. Many of the restaurants have outdoor dining areas facing the waterfront. It is well patronised by tourists and although not a large street, affords an opportunity for a pleasant outing.
