We were warmly welcomed by a knowledgeable docent. His narration of the church's history made it come alive. And this church has had an extraordinary history dating back to the Revolutionary War. Even if there is no docent on duty when you go walking around...More

My wife and three young sons wandered through this gem of a cemetery. We took lots of pictures of this beautiful spot. So much character.

If you enjoy history, this is a great centrally located church to visit. The historic church is surrounded b a walled cemetery with Revolutionary War grave sites, as well as many Civil War grave sites. The burial sites have respectful and informative signage.

The history is amazing. The way they honor Jesus in what they do in the community and as a church is beautiful.

We did not go inside the church but visited the tomb stones around the church. The big oaks with the hanging spanish moss are wonderful.
