After being tricked by one of the many tore companies, where we walked out of their “presentation”, we walked straight to the Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon. What a great surprise! Excellent history, excellent tour guides and such interesting information. Very much enjoyed!

We visited the exchange and dungeon and found the employees to be very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are a history buff, this is a must see. I would not recommend it for small children.

This is an absolute must see when visiting Charleston. The historic site and history are well worth are the price of admission. The staff are exceptionally nice, they answer your questions, and are a wealth of historic knowledge.

We went on a guided tour that included about an hour and a half in the old exchange. It was really interesting - plenty to see & read about! The dungeon is definitely worth a visit.

The main floor has interesting displays and exhibits. The lower level dungeon includes a guided tour which brings history to life. The top floor is the place where our constitution was ratified. A costumed docent provided a lot of information.
