We visited Charles Towne Fermentory at the recommendation of a friend and weren't really sure what to expect. I'm a big beer drinker, but my husband...not so much. That being said, we were looking for a fun way to kick off a date night and...More

Really really great beer. Loved everything I drank and it was pretty reasonable priced for a brewery. Would recommend. The snacks seemed pricey, but I didn’t eat any of those so I can’t comment on them.

Stopped here on a recommendation from someone in NC and I'm glad we did. Nice dudes and crazy good beers. Very clean establishment. Just wish they had cans, but when your beers are this good, I understand that they sell out fast. We opted for...More

If you like hazy IPAs you have to visit! I didn't know what to expect and was blown away at the quality of the beer. By far the best around.

Didn’t expect this brewery to be located off a main Charleston roadway. Took an Uber over and stayed for an hour or so. They have a small kitchen serving Cuban food. Goes great with the beer. They have small pours if you prefer to try...More

I joined some friends here. I had wanted to try it for a while. Parking is very limited in this area so you may need to park and walk a ways. The place has some community tables and a few smaller tables for two to...More

The title says it all. Sold as 8 or 16 ounce glasses the prices are very reasonable too. The atmosphere is easy going, the staff are friendly and most importantly the beer is top notch!

Been really digging the New England style IPA's lately and stumbled onto Charles Towne Fermentory's Sungazer IPA and Mallard Reaction DIPA by way of Richard Easterby at Craft Conundrum down the road. After several pints and a growler fill of Sungazer, I was hooked and...More

My only negative is they need food trucks on weekends. Love the juicy new England ipa's. This place is going to be special. Great brewer
