Wonderful place to take in the views of the cooper river water front. Nothing to obstruct the view and nothing but birds and breeze to appeal to the ears. Just off the pier is a Belgian Ice-cream shop to get a great milk shake or...More

We enjoyed the view of the water and of the USS Yorktown and Fort Sumter. Got some great pictures of cranes in the marsh along the shore. It is very nice pier to walk out on for better views but it was a bit windy...More

We stopped at Waterfront Park on our trip to Charleston. It is a beautiful park with two outstanding fountains. One is the Pineapple Fountain and the other is a splash fountain. You can go in and get wet in both fountains. That is why we...More

Relaxing spot away from the city with intimate seating areas and large swinging benches on a dock. Lovely place to come sit for awhile or enjoy a snack.

Nice view across river to Patriot Point and the beautiful bridge. Watched a cruise ship leaving port. Be aware it's very windy and can be chilly.

Another Mayor Riley triumph. A wasteland riverbank converted into a beautiful, restful, fun park with outstanding views of the Cooper River, the harbor, and the Cooper River Bridge.

Pleasant, attractive and well-designed green space on the harbor. Best in the morning before it's overrun with tourists (and a great spot to see the sunrise). The water in the fountains is treated so kids can splash, wade and cool off during the summer. On...More

There are parking garages nearby. You will be very lucky to find a parking meter close by or have enough change. A quarter gets you 15 minutes. Enforced to 6:00 pm free on weekends.
