We took an eight year old girl. She loved the pirate treasure hunt. Although my husband and I have lived our lives here, we had never done this. It was interesting and great fun watching the children have such fun. I would recommend this adventure!

We had a wonderful time on our pirate and ghost tour. Sabrina was a wealth of information and hilarious! The walk is great and the sites are even better. I highly recommend this tour :)

Sabrina expertly brought the pirate world to our family (granddaughters et al). With good humor, historical facts and good presentation (pirate-style) we enjoyed two hours of fun and, then, stayed "overtime" for a few more tidbits. You shouldn't miss this aspect of Charleston history.

Sabrina was fantastic and entertaining for our kids. I wasn't expecting much for a land based "pirate tour" but there was a live parrot, sword fighting, flags, stories and a treasure hunt. Time well spent for the kids and the length was just right.

Sabrina led us on a great pirate adventure looking for various landmarks and treasure. She made it interesting for the kids and the adults. She was very accomodating. She even rescheduled due to a conflict with our schedule. If you are in Charleston be sure...More

The guide was nice and knowledgeable. She taught us many things we didn’t know. However this was the first pirate tour my family and I took that the guide didn’t act like a pirate. Dressed like one yes and my kids still had fun just...More

Sorry the tour didn't meet your expectations, but I'm glad that we did meet our goals of the kids having fun and everyone learning something. It is a tour, not a show, and we try to make it enjoyable for everyone. For the kids, there...More

I am so sorry that I did not answer sooner! I never got a notification from Tripadvisor about your message. We get kids that age on all of our tours. It really depends on the child. The pirate tour is 2 hours, and it's... More

Please forgive the delay in my answer. I just saw your question. As a rule, Eric does the daytime pirate tour every day, but we take turns doing the pirate & ghost tour at night. If you call me before you buy tickets, I... More

There is no charge for children under 3, but they still need a ticket. You'll see a $0-priced ticket for kids under 4 on our website.
